The cottage is approached along a farm road which is also a bridleway, and was originally an old lane. There is parking for 2 cars adjacent to the cottage. The front door leads into a small hallway which leads into the dining room Open Plan Dining Room and Sitting Room - the dining room has a table and seating for up to 6 and has its own door leading onto the garden. The floor is made from elm wood from a tree which grew nearby. Through a wide opening is the sitting room which has an inglenook with log burner and a bay window with southerly views to the fields and woods. There is a television with freeview, dvd player and radio/cd payer. Kitchen - adjacent to the dining room is the kitchen which has ample storage and workspace, and all necessary appliances, including a dishwasher and tumble-dryer. The kitchen door leads to a large patio area with table and four chairs and the garden. Bedrooms - upstairs there is a sunny landing leading to 2 bedrooms sleeping four; a double room with television, and a twin room. Both are bright rooms with southerly views across the farm. Bathroom - adjacent to the bedrooms there is a family bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin and toilet. There is an additional WC and cloakroom downstairs. Garden - the garden enjoys a southerly aspect. It includes a private patio area adjacent to the kitchen. There is a patio table and seating for 4. At the end of the garden, guests may walk through into the adjacent orchard. This was planted in 2007 with half-standard traditional native varieties of fruit trees.
